BEGINNER CLASSES
⭐ Beginner Classes — Youth Philately

Youth philately beginner classes are special exhibition categories designed to help young collectors learn how to exhibit stamps step by step. These classes focus on learning, creativity, and basic philatelic knowledge rather than rare or expensive material.

🧒 Youth Age Classes

Youth exhibits are usually grouped by age so judging is fair and appropriate.

  • Junior Class — for younger collectors (about up to 15 years).
Focus on simple topics, neat presentation, and basic understanding.

  • Intermediate / Youth Class — for teenagers (about 16–18 years).
Requires more research, better organisation, and clearer explanations.

  • Young Adult Class — for older youth (about 19–21 years).
Higher standards with advanced knowledge and exhibit structure.

(Age limits vary depending on the exhibition.)

📄 Beginner Exhibit Types

These exhibit types are most suitable for youth beginners.

  • 1-Frame Exhibit
Small exhibit of 16 pages on one topic. Best starting level.

  • Thematic Philately
Tells a story using stamps and related material (animals, space, sports, etc.). Very popular with youth.

  • Traditional Philately (Basic Level)
Study of stamps from one country or issue, including design and printing.

  • Open Philately (Youth)
